World Champ is a boxing game that resembles Data East's Ring King in many ways. You may play a one-player "Ranking" mode in which you can improve your boxer's stats while climbing the ladder to eventually compete for a championship in one of the four weight classes. There is also a two-player vs. option in which you and a friend may compete. A tournament mode enables up to eight participants to compete in a bracketed event.
