Kid Icarus is a platform video game that was created by Nintendo and distributed by the company for the Family Computer Disk System in Japan as well as for the Nintendo Entertainment System in Europe, North America, and other parts of the world. It was first made available in Europe in February 1987, Japan in December 1986, and North America in July of that same year.
