Hollywood Squares is a multiplatform puzzle game based on the same-named television game show. Versions for MS-DOS, Commodore 64, and Apple II home computers were also produced, and they varied slightly from the NES version. The shot of the set on both the NES and PC versions is from the premiere episode of the 1985 series (the actual show had no gold stars on the studio floor and more elaborate risers for the cars). The game is based on the John Davidson-hosted version from 1986 to 1989.
